A research group in organic, physical organic, and computational chemistry
Our research focuses on organic chemistry, as we work to synthesize new chemical matter and develop new chemical reactions in the fields of organosulfur chemistry and reactive intermediates. We also employ physical organic and computational tools to understand the mechanisms of organic transformations involving carbocations, sulfur/polysulfides, and develop models of selectivity for enantioselective organocatalyzed or transition metal-catalyzed reactions.
