The mission of the UEL is to train the next generation of leaders in conservation biology, sustainability, and environmental justice, and to ensure that such leadership reflects the communities they will serve.

Campus survey. One way we survey the biodiversity in the NJIT campus is with an annual 'bioblitz': a 'citizen science' campus nature hunt, with guided bird and pollinator walks, moth trapping, and more. Click here to see what we have found to date.
