CNR's Dynamic Labs — Where Experiments Never Cease.
Laboratory:
The Center for Natural Resources boasts a substantial facility at NJIT, featuring a generous 1,200 square feet of wet laboratory space. Complementing this resource, a sizeable 45-foot-long hydraulics flume enhances our research capabilities. Inside the wet chemistry lab, a laminar hood and various shakers facilitate experiments focused on water chemistry and microbiology.
Furthermore, CNR is equipped with a 500-square-foot environmental fluid mechanics laboratory that houses a cutting-edge 2019 Dantec PIV (Particle Image Velocimeter) system, enabling precise measurement of water velocities at the micron scale within hydraulic setups.
