The NMR laboratory at NJIT supports research across campus in synthetic organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biomolecular sciences, determination of the concentration of recalcitrant pollutants, and plays a significant role within the molecular structure elucidation, performing one- and two-dimensional NMR on a routine basis.
The NMR Lab operates on a 24/7 open-access model, where trained users come to the laboratory and perform the analysis (see NMR Training Session for more information). Currently, NMR data are transferred from the Host Computer to a USB memory stick. The user processes the data offline, using either the MNova software provided by the NMR laboratory, or the academic-free Bruker TopSpin, or any other data processing software of a research group's preference.
