Neural Mechanisms of Gait Adaptation in Mixed Reality

The first aim of this study is to acquire an initial understanding of the neural correlates of goal-directed walking, and the second aim is to determine whether performance in complex goal-directed walking conditions is affected solely by mobility deficits or also by cognitive decline.

AR cues are projected on the floor. Participants need to match the avatar's foot to the virtual footprints.
