Abstract:
This talk will discuss the innovative approaches DHS S&T is taking to create a safer, less buggy bug world through innovation, tech transition, and research collaboration. DHS S&T has taken a leadership role in the R&D community to reinforce the need for improved software assurance tools, technologies and capabilities to keep pace with the evolution in modern software.
Bio:
Kevin has more than 16 years of experience in cybersecurity. He currently works in the Science and Technology Directorate at Department of Homeland Security, in their Cyber Security Division. Kevin leads a successful R&D program, creating forward leaning research and development in the area of Software Security Assurance. He has a proven track record of transitioning and commercializing R&D. Kevin has established himself as a Thought Leader in cyber, a contributing author for Dark Reading and he currently hosts Cybersecurity Insights and Perspectives podcast on FedScoop Radio.
