This solicitation focuses on the national priority of climate change mitigation and reducing greenhouse gas emissions towards a carbon-free clean electricity sector. The most cost-effective way to reduce energy use and cut emissions is by improving the electricity sector's overall efficiency, which will assist in combating climate change and enhancing energy security.
