How can public access advance equity and learning?
For the first time, multiple federal agencies — convened by the National Science Foundation and the American Association for the Advancement of Science — will come together to lay out their public access plans. Early career researchers, university administrators, and scientific societies will have the opportunity to discuss, with a focus on the plans’ equity considerations, including implications for authors seeking to publish new work in different journals, with continued editorial quality, and making available research data.
