Manuscript Networking, Ideation, and Collaboration Workshop (NIC)

The Manuscript Networking, Ideation & Collaboration Workshop (NIC) will provide participants with foundational knowledge on conducting Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research and opportunities to match with potential writing collaborators and collectively develop manuscript ideas with potential for journal publication.

Outcomes

By participating in this workshop, you will: 

1. Learn the importance of graduating engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset  
2. Learn best practices for conducting and publishing collaborative Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research  
3. Form a writing team with other like-minded engineering faculty
4. Identify a manuscript topic  

Target Audience

The NIC is open to faculty and other academics across engineering disciplines that conduct research on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) that emphasizes creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, and teaching innovations within engineering education. This workshop is limited to 150 participants.
