The U-RISE at NJIT is a research training scholarship program that provides individualized mentorship with a matched faculty member, didactic training within your academic curriculum, research for credit, year-round research training activities and a U-RISE support team dedicated to student success and transition to graduate school.

This program is an Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) supported by the National Institute of General and Medical Sciences (NIGMS) of The National Institutes of Health (NIH). It is a scholarship program with the overall goal of training undergraduates who are interested in pursuing a PhD and a career in biomedical research.
