WEBINAR: Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers (MRSEC) program

The MRSEC Program continues to provide sustained support of materials research and education addressing fundamental problems of a scope and complexity requiring the scale, synergy, and multidisciplinary provided by a campus-based research center.

MRSEC Program Director (PD), Dr. Miriam Deutsch, will give a 40-minute presentation focusing on topics such as: a brief overview of the MRSEC program, an overview of the competition timeline and process, and key changes from the previous solicitation that should be considered. Immediately following the presentation, MRSEC program directors Dr. Deutsch and Dr. Cosima Boswell-Koller will be available to answer questions through a moderated “Question & Answer” session.

Participants are strongly encouraged to submit questions in advance, so they can be incorporated and answered throughout the presentation. Questions should be submitted via email to mrsec@nsf.gov

In the days following the webinar, MRSEC program directors will also be available for 15-minute pre-scheduled individual meetings, to discuss specific issues and answer additional questions related to proposal submission. Additional details and separate registration information will be provided post-webinar.
