NSF Undergraduate Research Program - EXTREEMS-QED

EXTREEMS-QED is an undergraduate research program in the modeling and simulation of complex systems and the computational analysis of data which is supported by the National Science Foundation. EXTREEMS-QED stands for Expeditions in Training, Research, and Education for Mathematics and Statistics through Quantitative Explorations of Data. Every January, a new group of students commences research on projects of at least one year duration in these areas under the guidance of faculty.

Prof. M. Siegel is the principal investigator on this grant. Co-principal investigators are Profs. D. Horntrop, J. Loh,  Z. Michalopoulou, and M. Nakayama (Computer Science). Investigators are Profs. S. Jiang, R. Moore, P. Petropoulos, and C. Turc. Industrial participants are S. Balakrishnan (AT&T Research) and W. Morokoff (Standard & Poor's).  Other professors and industrial participants may also be involved with this program.

Each fall applications are accepted from NJIT students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Please follow the instructions on the application.
