UBM Program trained undergraduate student participants in the application of mathematical and computer modeling to problems in Biology, and provided real laboratory research experience in the fields of Cell Biology, Neuroscience and Quantitative Ecology, preparing the students for graduate or medical schools and future careers in scientific research. This NSF program ended on August 31, 2013.
