The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) is soliciting applications/proposals to this funding opportunity using delegated authority provided by United States Code, Title 10, Section 4001 (10 USC 4001). The CDMRP is the program office managing this FY26 funding opportunity as part of the JWMRP. The CDMRP is located within the Defense Health Agency Research and Development (DHA R&D), which is a part of the Department of Defense, DOD, herein referred to using the secondary title Department of War, DOW. Congress initiated the JWMRP in 2012 to augment and accelerate high-priority DOW and service medical requirements to continue prior-year initiatives that are close to achieving their objectives and yield a benefit to military medicine. The ultimate goal of the program is to expedite the delivery of highly impactful medical solutions to Service Members and Military Health System beneficiaries; in order to ensure the highest degree of military relevance, advanced product development communities are critical partners in executing the JWMRP. Appropriations for the JWMRP from FY12 through FY25 totaled $615 million (M). The FY26 appropriation is $10M.
