The Committee felt comfortable with the proposed addition of research with potentially infectious biological agents and addition of human and non-human primate blood, body fluids, cell Lines, and Tissue explants. The Committee noted that records for the current training of the five individuals were missing. Richard Arlaus will follow up with Dr. Farinas and other staff members to ensure that the training is completed. Committee granted conditional approval, and full approval notice was issued on August 5, 2025.

III. Other Business

Mitchell Gayer retirement:

Transition management and communication ongoing to ensure stability and the continued operation of the IBC.
